Season Finale Preview

Liquid Football (7-2-2) plays its last match of the season against BIH Grand Rapids (3-7-1) in Grand Rapids on Saturday.

Liquid Football has second place locked up after tying Livonia City FC last weekend. Both Liquid Football goals were scored by Hamzah Saleh early in the first half. Liquid Football took their foot off the gas and coasted to halftime. Early in the second half Livonia City pulled one back on a long-distance shot and later equalized off a flick header to make it 2-2.

With the tie, catching up with Inter would be impossible. Liquid Football thought they might have a chance after Inter was tied with the Jaguars in the 87th minute of their game, but it wasn't meant to be. Inter scored the league-winning goal with three minutes to go, Clinching their title.

BIH Grand Rapids or Bosnia and Herzegovina Grand Rapids 6th in the Great Lakes West. Their last game was against Holland Rovers, who won 2-0 last week. The win for Holland was only their second win of the season, taking them out of last place in the Great Lakes West division.

Liquid Football is locked in at 2nd place no matter what happens in the game on Saturday. Liquid Football would love to be playing for something but are also thankful they aren’t because half of their roster will not be in attendance due to other commitments.

The roster is going to be a skeleton crew. It should be interesting to see how Coach Javi uses his shallow bench.
